Abdul Rehman Ikram

A graduate student in the Department of Bioinformatics at Government College University Faisalabad, Abdul Rehman is presently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in the subject. His main focus is to implement different
pipelines for bioinformatics in Ubuntu and windows operating systems using the command line environment.
And mainly focuses on computational skills in the analysis of Genomics, Proteomics, and Transcriptomics data
using various Bioinformatics Approaches. In addition, Abdul Rehman is an instructor at Udemy, where he teaches
bioinformatics to learners around the world. He has been involved in projects related to NGS applications. He has good hands-on training in LINUX OS, Python, and R scripting. The research interests of Abdul Rehman focus on genome-wide analysis of gene families, especially their role in abiotic stress. including an affordable biosystem for plant phenotyping and a bioinformatics website that can be accessed
